Bury Art Gallery and MuseumBury Art Gallery and Museum

An imposing Romanesque stone building, with large first-floor galleries. The Thomas Wrigley collection of Victorian pictures is always on display; other pictures are rotated, but pictures not on display can be seen if you give notice. For once, the pictures are informatively labelled. Moss Street is between the railway station and the main shopping centre. There are car parks and some on-street parking at meters. This museum also holds a large collection of Lancastrian Pottery.
