The soft soul within each individual might also be called the mind.

And the soft soul communicates with the body, sharing and linking with every movement and internal experience, intimately relating, moment by moment as we passage through our lives.

And the nature of this experience can be related to that of a computer, with its hardware and software, both of which have their limitations and drawbacks, but... The largest potential in this, our own soul/body computer, lies within the software, and not the hardware.

We, as living computers do not need wires at all to communicate with one another, if we are within close enough range, it is only distance that creates a sliding scale of difficulty.

So this relates to interfaces, and the veils or shades through which we communicate over distance, and the means of interaction, and this is now being progressed as the mouse and keyboard will be made redundant over the next few years as gestural interfaces are created... But this is only a step in the direction we need to travel.

As software becomes closer and more 'human', gestures will form only part of the communicative interfaces, as voice recognition grows, and along with it, intonation and expressive force of utterance grow in capability.

And, we will learn to express ourselves correctly, accurately and powerfully, and begin to supersede the mechanical interfaces, recognising the potential that resides, dormant with each of us, to facilitate telepathy.

And this is our next evolutionary step... Organica! Love Thy Organic!

THE ORGANIC MACHINE

We are organic machines - living, existing machines. Our bodies, and all the componentry is based in physics, chemistry and the sciences, and this has to obey the laws of physics and nature, so though called a machine, might also be called an organism.

An organic organism, driven by what? A need to survive, procreate and multiply? On a physical level, yes, that is the meaning of the machine, but contained within the machine, is something that is non-organic, non-physical, non-chemical, and can ignore all and any known physical laws.

And this non-organic and abstracted component, is the actual reason for the existence of everything, yes, including the universe, what may lie within and without the universe and even time itself, as everything, all things are... subjective.

Everything is dependent upon other things to exist, to be, and the centre of the entire dependent relationship series is one thing - the mind.

The mind is the observer, and also the creator of all, for nothing - no thing, can exist independent of an observing mind, so in effect you are god, and the organism that is your vehicle, your organic machine, is an illusory veil (though it can seem like a very heavy burden), and nothing more, but... It is vital for the mind to have the capacity for itself to free itself from the illusion, working with the experiences of the body and all its driving forces and teasing tastes. Though enigmatic our body is here to teach us what our mind needs to learn to experience true freedom.

And this is our next evolutionary step... Organica! Love Thy Organic!

ORGANIC NETWORKING

Reality is Information, and Information is Reality.

There are 4 groupings, or aspects to our experience, that which we call reality, and they can be grouped together in the following manner... And these are sequential, and this is an important consideration.

Group 1 - Change, Synchronicity, Bifurcation, Balance, Self-Similarity, Feedback, Transformation, Evolution, Pattern, Turbulence, Chaos.

Group 2 - Location, Co-ordinates, Memetics, Ideosphere, Harmonic.

Group 3 - Mind, Cognition, Symbol, Inference, Archetype, Tarot, Astrosophy.

Group 4 - Mystic, Karma, Dharma, Tantra, Yoga, Magick.

And each of these can be considered in both gross and subtle aspects, and though sequential, and non-linear.

So, today we have the phenomena of the social networks, that ostensibly empower individuals to be heard, to share, to see and be seen, and also to look, into the lives of others, thus creating windows (no pun intended) into the lives of our fellow humans.

And what is the purpose, or the reason for this? It is an individual and collective experiment, co-ordinated by intuition and desire to realise our capacities to communicate, without fear or obstruction, or even judgement.

As, by opening up our lives to others, we free ourselves from the obscurations to inter-personal communication, in effect we learn to connect with one another. We all have something to hide, and this commonality has the power to release or minds from the defensive cage of denial, predicating social and evolutionary advancements.

And this is our next evolutionary step... Organica! Love Thy Organic!

An Organic Meme? An organic what?

It's like drilling down, to reach the very centre, the very core, but drilling into an orb that is comprised of 1000's of concentric layers that each rotate at various speeds and in a multitude of directions.

OK, I can hear you think, just by applying sheer pressure upon the drill you will reach the centre, just by dint of determination and continual applied pressure... You will get there, but what for, to what purpose?

To deliver a message, like posting into a letter box of the mind - a direct message.

But the true art of organic memetics is not to drill down, or to apply pressure, it is to skillfully await the moment that those concentric rings are aligned, and the single entry point is perfectly created, for one single moment, one single trajectory into the heart of the mind, and.... then deliver a message.

How does the memeticist know when that alignment is perfect, and how might it be predicted, for much is hidden, obscured and discreet... invisible, and perhaps unknowable.

Perhaps she waits until the light from within is being revealed at takes that opportunity to realise her moment is now. So, she has to be ready, and know what it is she wishes to deliver, and she has to be patient, so very patient, as this conjunction, this inevitability might be aeons away... 1000 orbs, rotating concentrically at various speeds, and in a multitude of axis... Maybe she has to wait for eternity?

How rare is that moment?

Or is there another way of connecting, directly, from centre to centre, from clarity of mind to clarity of mind? Oh yes, there is.

A NEW ORGANIC LANGUAGE

A new language for a new science, to create a new construct.

To connect both the hidden and the visible, and represent the language of existence, rendered in simple graphical representations... Less of the tangled words, and more of the illustrative.

To start - How to we communicate, and by implication, how do we share information?

From the very centre of me, I wish to connect with the very centre of you. And this is the nature of almost all communications, from one to one, and also from one to many, and the less inhibition, or confusion in communication, creates a clearer message, requiring less interpretation.

For within us all are centres, called minds, which are in essence identical, though carrying different codings, which are sometimes called karma. And it is through the filtration of karma that we both speak and listen, adding obstructions (sometimes inadvertent) to both what we hear and say.

It takes more engagement to listen than to speak, and for the purposes of this short essay, imagine that each user of the internet wishes to hear, and that this is the function of the next generation of software and web 3.0 development, as the methodology and systems clear the pathway from one to another, with a lesser number of interfaces, which one might extrapolate into a form of telepathy.

For to communicate, with the minimum level of interference, would be direct from one mind to another. And this next generation of communication systems are pre-cursors to this eventuality.... As the nano world of the quantum computer arises, and replicates the physiological systems of the body, an understanding of how one can share unedited messages with another will be the outcome.

INVISIBLE ORGANIC

There are these words - As Above, So Below... And, what do they mean to you? It could well be that the resonance they activate within you has references within your desires, your fears or maybe your power.

For me, they are a means of realising that what I can see, touch, relate and experience in my world, are just part of what is happening, in and around me. For much, indeed perhaps most, of what is going on in our universe is invisible to our experience.

I could create a list, that could go one for a long time, knowing that with the microscopic and macroscopic worlds are events that pass my senses by, and that within my sense awarenesses are frequencies and events that I cannot see, feel, hear. But, nonetheless, we know they are there, and this basis, this understanding in the nature of the new web paradigms.

Not hidden in the sense that a user does not see, or know the background or softwares that keep the communication networks operating and functioning, but hidden within the mind of the user.

As, if I may be so bold, do users (of their minds) know what is happening, and how? This is a bit of a bold challenge, but as with the vast majority of computer users, who actually knows how they work? Maybe in part, but the totality is a subtle and highly complex whole, and to simplify to the utter basics, requires a profound sense of understanding.

And hence, the time to create a New Science, or Science 2.0, and within this new science are the following terms, to be united, defined and connected... Ready?

Balance, Bifurcation, Dharma, Magick, Mystic, Prediction, Change, Chaos, Yoga, Archetype, Evolution, Transformation, Turbulence, Synchronicity, Astrosophy.

And, a new language for a new science, to create a new construct.

ORGANIC CHAOS AND ORDER

Chaos is the apparent disorder that lies behind the ordered world we inhabit, so it is said. But the chaos is the totality of our reality, there is no order, only perceived and managed order.

The narrow window of our experience, the loci of our adaptation, is merely an experience of rationalisation, of convenience, and these are merely subjective constructs, as the exponential arrays of strangely led attractions spiral into infinity, beyond our physical abilities to see.

Our sense perceptions are still primitive, though entirely adapted for survival here on Earth, but within, inside our minds lie the capacity to know far more than our sense awareness can report back to us. And within this universe of mind are the potentials to link with the external, to connect and affect the surroundings and environment, from the systems functioning within our body to the environment in which we live.

An aspect of this paradigm, has been philosophically defined as 'Concrescense' or 'Organic Realism' by Alfred North Whitehead, as part of his treatise on 'Process Philosophy', and this is somewhat similar to a union of thoughts of Heraclitus and Aristotle.

Realising that all things are in constant flow or flux, and that no thing is ever completed, but in a state of readiness for change, this idea can be adapted in the way that we interface with our computers, and eventually the internet and other users, the point at where the macro and micro interface being the mind.

The substance that we perceive in the universe, creating our set of spatial co-ordinates, on a quantum level, are each affected by our observation, but to create change to our perception, we must use very focused thought, no scatter gun approach here.

And this addition of an attractor, if clearly positioned, will affect things around that point, and the internet in almost this machine, only in reverse. The dissonance and chaos lies externally within the internet, and the focussed mind being the activator....

ORGANIC STARLINGS

A mumuration of starlings... One of the hidden manners in which we communicate, un-noticed and invisible... This organic movement, shared, interactive, leaderless is similar to way in which we move and share ideas around the internet.

I say leaderless, but truly, each and every individual within the murmuration can be the leader, but so very temporarily, and indeed, it is not possible to identify the leader, for it is an amorphous flow and dynamic, and to draw an analogy, should you look at a river flowing, which part of the river leads? It cannot be distinguished.

So, can the leader be seen, or can one become a leader of the group... Causing effects, followers, and create a wake of dynamic behind one's trajectory. Yes, and the next generation of the internet, maybe web 3.0+ or perhaps web 4.0, will have full capacity for shaped clustering, grouping and creative energy, but by this time, the manner in which the development is managed and controlled will be set by a new set of precedents, precedents that preclude the traditional power structures, and those with vested financial interests.

This is not to say that various groups and individuals will not compete to steer the direction and flow, but a democratisation, visible now through the power assumed very quickly by some successful new start-ups, will empower a new generation of very clear thinkers, maybe shamen and magicians too, to add their potent droplets to the mixture.

For the next opening stage of the organic internet will reveal the longer term purpose and meaning for the increase in our shared communciations, world-wide, the planet's collective consciousness will exposed, and readable, and for that position, will be affectable... Change will begin to be created from within, rather than from outside the individual... Mind control? No.

ORGANIC REALITY CONSTRUCTS

As the Internet, our computers and their software grow more subtle and less intrusive, the aspects from which be both begin and end our communications becomes the most important, as the number of interfaces, internal and external will begin to reduce.

Robert Anton Wilson described them as 'reality tunnels' and George Kelly regarded them as 'constructs', these being the view of the world we each have, as identified from our perspective.

It is a common human need to share these perspectives, and hence the highly popular and distracting media of the world of soap operas, and sports programmes, wherein, shared experiences of external events can be treated as an even playing field, (excuse the pun), whereby the commonality of descriptive language allows for all to engage in simplistic conversations regarding shared observations, and then discussion afterwards validates our experiences, and also reinforces all the associated stereotypes... You know how it is.

But I am going to suggest that these are common avoidance methods for considering what lies deeper within our experiences, the mind that lies at the heart of our construct or reality tunnel.

And though the main thrust of what has been happening on the internet these past few years has been on a largely superficial level, games, chat and drivel, the move from the external and trivial is moving closer to the essence of mind, that which is clarity and cognition.

And it is the understanding of cognition, and the related experiences associated with aware cognition, that is the very basis of the next generation of the web, Web 3.0+ or perhaps I am ahead of myself, and this is really Web 4.0 that I am seeing.

For, as intuitive futurologists might know, the direction is towards the past, to relearn what we had (and still have), the power and capacity for telepathy, kick started back into life by software and increased computer speeds, aligned with multi layered and textured communications.

This is the organic future, a rediscovered construct, a re-found reality tunnel, that precludes interference, and precipitates direct conversation, mind to mind, and I know how it is going to work... I have an idea.

AN ORGANIC THOUGHT

All arises from mind... You, me, our computers and the internet. Nothing has any objective existence without a relationship to a mind... Yours or mine, but, from my perspective, mine.

How many layers of clutter and interface do we actually need to exchange thoughts and ideas, and are all means of communication actually obstacles to what we can naturally do, just think to communicate.

Our hard wired world has facilitated an increase in speed and a reduction in travel to relay our thoughts to one another, but are these kind computer manufacturers actually beginning to strip away the layers we have built up, through science and technology over the past 1000 years or so.

Is there a reason why not much was written down millenia ago? Well, consider this, it may well be that earlier civilisations had the ability to communicate and share thoughts, telepathically, so they had no need to write things down, and thus there remains little trace of their cultures, and, was this a lack of sophistication, as modern historians might have us believe, or was it perhaps, a super realised state of being, that had hyper sensitivity to those around us and our environments?

Just a thought.

So, for the next generation of computer designers, and internet radicals, for the new semantic web we need to look into the mind. Not an empirical, statistical, scientific version of the mind, but the actual nature and function of the mind, in its true and abstract manner.

I am going to explore this, to create a new means of communicating, understanding and sharing.

UNDER YOUR ORGANIC SKIN

Starting from the outer edge of ourselves what do we have? Those hairs, those fine filaments that extend into the area that surrounds us, picking up subtle movements and vibrations, and nestling a warmed layer of air closer to our skins. Do you feel those hairs?

And then onto the skin that covers our body, from head to toe, including the parts that we seldom think about, like our backs, the layer of skin that completely encloses our sense of self, but also has a blurred sense of finality where it meets the external air. And this skin, this holds our shape, it is the form that we are, our size, our shape, our figure, our body... Love it, or?

Then, we have a layer of fat that lies beneath our skin and cushions and protects that which lies within the body, from that which is without, and then of course we can go inwards, muscle, bones, tendons, blood, veins, arteries, glands, organs, nervous system, all functioning in relative harmony (if you are well), and by and large, completely ignored by us... But then again, there is more.

Aside from all those massed physical sensations that comprise our body, there is something more, an identity called me.

And, that is where the real mystery dwells, and within this understanding lies the wisdom that will reveal the next stage of internet development, and this I will begin to explore... Stay tuned...

DIGGING DEEPER INTO ORGANIC

I am digging a little deeper into the fertile organic soil, to both plant seeds of future growth and direction, but also to see what actually lies deep below the surface, and indeed, closer to the core.

For, this is where the life actually emerges from as we have been witness too in this past few months, as the Earth quakes, and reminds us that she is not a fixed and static observer of the activity upon her surface, she is an active participant, and ignore this at your peril.

And the core, the centre, the essence is that which the surface is compounded upon, and therefore is a direct result of the hidden activity.... As above, so below. And, in the context of the next generation of the interweb, web 3.0+ - this is referring to mind.

I have watched the CEO of Microsoft, and also many SEO gurus talking about the next organic generation of the this fertile field, and they do actually all miss the point, as the the point is this... They will no longer be of any use, and will eventually serve no purpose, as the future will make them and their products and services redundant.

For what is coming is the actuation, or rediscovery of telepathy, the communication that requires no interface, and this will of course sideline all the communication companies, those who make mobile phones, computers and their software... and hopefully even reducing all those mindless games and puerile activities so beloved by the manufacturers who thrive on the inadequacies of the massed consumers.

And come it will, and along with this will come the powerful inner understandings of personal empowerment and potential for liberation from the heavy handed media who have created the dependent relationship twixt cash flow and dumbing down.

The future generation of the the organic internet, maybe web 6.0, will not require any hardware or software, as we shall discover it is within us already, and just like our great mother, Earth, that which resides deep within will manifest externally, in response to the surface layers that may have been piled on top of us by external agents... We shall shrug off the low quality media piles, seeing them for the distractions that they really are, and permit the growth of our own inspired dynamic to emerge... organically... It is coming.

READING THE ORGANIC

Creating a focus point or loci, where might the centre be. Yes, the centre of our universe? Considering both the infinitely large and the infinitely small, where might a judgement be as to where the centre might be?

I have two suggestions.

1. It is everywhere.

2. It is you.

Perhaps these appear contradictory, but in understanding how things truly exist, and how they might be read and understood, there is no contradiction. For according to both quantum physics and also ancient wisdom, the mind of the observer creates the affect of appearance to that mind.

Be careful what you think, eh?

To read the past, one can see versions repeated and manifested before our eyes, as we can say that the future of the past exists in the present, so... an aspect of the past does exist, simultaneously with our present.

And too, the past of the future exists in the present. Yes it does. An aspect of the future exists here and now. To read this future, what do we do?

In their subtle aspects the variables that comprise possible futures are like potentials or seeds that will grow when the correct conditions are aligned, and thus, as a gardener, we can help to shape our own futures, in terms of the inner conditions we experience, and those outer conditions that affect us (or seem to).

And as an organic gardener or organic divinator, we not only plant for the the future, we also see potential obstacles and clear them away, a bit like weeding, getting rid of those that we do not wish to see.

For, as the centre is both unique (for you and I), and everywhere (for everyone else), the simultaneous experience, though dulled and obscured, manifests throughout. This is sometimes described as the holographic principle, in that everything is contained within each part, but just as we all have eyes to see, not everyone chooses to look, and thus some are insular and seemingly disconnected from the greater whole.

And to look into a future, use your mind. Not your sense awarenesses. Read a possible and potential external by connecting with the entirety within, for a future exists in the present, as the past of that future.

Next, how to know which is which.

PROJECT ORGANIC REALTIME

With an increased recognition of the potential of a semantic and intuitive based interface between the minds of the the users of the next generation of the internet, I have developed a strategy that enables and increases the organic (living) aspects of the web, and also utilises the power of the inorganic (hardware) aspects.

As realtime search becomes a major feature of web 3.0+ I felt it was time to look a little closer at what might be achieved here... For those who might not know, realtime search is a means whereby what ever is being uploaded onto the internet, now (often in the form of blogs, status updates on Facebook and Twitter) is searched and collated, and as such the 'wave' of news, information, gossip and chatter creates surges that are based upon the collective consciousness of the planet (well those who are busy sharing data on the web), and though this collective, and conscious wave of information the 'status' can be read...

So, for instance, if there is a major incident at an airport somewhere in the world, the news will break into the media, firstly through the web, something that is called 'citizen journalism'... You get the picture.

News spreads very fast.

Now, this is where it begins to get a little interesting for me.

As, contained within this constant flow of facts, figures, gossip, news etc., are also the hidden, or deeper subconscious events, that are revealed, though obscured. At this point I may say cheerio to a reader or two, as I am going to venture into the world of mysticism and divination.

Now, there are statistical proofs that the prices of metals (on the world market) fluctuate in direct relationship to the movement and phases of the moon and planets, and this has long been understood by the most successful traders, so... don't dismiss the idea just yet.

What I have created, is a method whereby a divinatory aspect is layered upon realtime search, which in effect reads the future of the all those millions of online contributors. Seeing movements and extrapolating trends in all manner of areas of human endeavour and understanding and also reading the hidden and concealed developments that are yet to emerge as conscious thoughts and actions.

What I am doing is reading the mind of the world, or learning to... And, I would love to share this journey, with you, if you feel this might be of interest.

ORGANIC SEMANTIC PRANIC

So, I am following an abstract path of integrating the hardware interface, with the current software offerings, and extrapolating how a more intuitive and semantic web might be created, developing a truly organic interface, one that can relate mind to mind.

The relative crudity of the mash-ups we have between minds, and the wealth of information that lies within each is currently one of the biggest, if not the prime obstacle to a more organic web, the dream... And the level of intercommunication can depend upon the the skill of the user (the seeker) and the skill of the author (the creator), and should this system lack balance, an imbalanced result will arise.

I mentioned yesterday that the true depth of communication might be magnified by the increased use of symbology, imagery and more developed alphabet, one that had been created with digital communication in mind, a new language.

But, there is another aspect that needs addressing too. Consider the keyboard through which we enter our datas... A single digital on/off interface that has no movement other than strict linear progression, allowing no lateral interpretation and development. So maybe a key board that senses pressure, subtle energies and yet more mystical elements, read and held as part of the data entry, and this containing elements of colour and feeling, and not juts by those who have great control and can manipulate the English language... A more feeling interface between fingers and database.

Maybe the touch screen is a way that this might be developed and achieved, pressure and movement sensitive, and over time able to 'read' other flows from the author, to be transmitted to the reader. An element of chi or prana, that can be taught as part of our language and communication skills.

About time really, and not just for computer folks....

ORGANIC SEMANTIC 3.0+

Developing the flexibility of intuition and comprehending the meaning of relationships, in effect being able to look into the eyes of a web page and 'read' what lies beyond the facade.

Connecting mind to mind, through the non-organic face of current hardware and software, is as yet an unrealised dream, but I think that there are ways of associating words, meanings and intentions, and by drawing these together, in randomised manner, though within a finite set of rules and relationships, deeper, semantic understandings can be drawn.

The lack of flexibility is inherent in the mechanical interface, whereby a coarse communication, predicated upon the 26 letters of the English language imprison the deeper meanings of your words shared over the internet.

We have a linguistic limitation, whereas imagery, appropriately coded can bear far more information... Consider - A picture is worth 1000 words.

We have the smiley codes and images, and also those based upon punctuation marks, and text abbreviations, which are able to communicate far more, though rather facile as yet, so I am suggesting that the semantic web, the organic internet, not only require a leap in programming and hardware design, but also a re-evaluation, and re-design of the language we use on our computers.

Sure, it will be tough for the oldies like me, but young minds have the capability to learn 2 languages at once, after all, mathematics is a language of sorts too, isn't it?

So, the linguists, the communicators, the visionaries, need to thread a language to share, and one that is user friendly for the machine. Start again... start again.

AN ORGANIC INTERNET 3.0

I'm searching for meaning, and understanding. I am seeing the word 'organic' juxtaposed with the word 'internet' with regard to Web 3.0

But when I look, dig and try to uncover I find no concise definition of the phrase, other than the over laboured usage by the SEO community, who seem to serve no other purpose other than to create a myopic introspective and a sickly, self aggrandising language based upon smugness. A anti-social media predicated upon inspeak and double, and triple fold meanings, attempting to extract every living and dead drop from a dead horse. And, they call it an industry! Could anything be less industrious?

But beneath that banal superficiality I detect that something important is afoot, that some true meaning might be established, and some benefit derived.

I would love to develop this idea, and I have created a list of words that might relate to the advancement, and I list them here, drawn in random order... I tried to consider which ones I liked, and those that I did not like, and then I reversed the polarity of my reaction, trying to like those I was repelled from, to gain a more insightful understanding to my experience.

This is my list of words.... Possibility, Probability, Mutate, Fear, Karma, Synchronicity, Attractors, Enhance, Spontaneous, Uncontrolled, Flexibility, Adaption, Control, Perturb, Risk, Random, Change, Create, Confusion, Uncertainty, Paradox, Havoc, Resistance, Evolution, Luck, Chaos.

So, what is your immediate reaction to each of these words? Like or not? Then, reverse your reaction, to engage with that which you might fear (from a point of safety of course...).

ORGANICA CHAOTICA

To quote from the Concise Oxford Dictionary, 5th Edition.... To 'Organise' means: 'to furnish with living organs; make organic; make into a living being or tissue.'

Q. So, am I organised and organic? A. I am chaotic and inorganic.

The teetering edge between order and chaos, is it wide or narrow? Well, it depends upon how deep you want, or even need to go, for the ridge that straddles the precipices is temporary, and unreliable.

The illusion of order provides a facade of safety, that facilitates a stasis for our emotional balance, for the order to be maintained, we have to maintain it, and should we choose not to, or should it fall away from our grasp, chaos will emerge from behind the curtain.

And should the organic fear disorder, might it be unmanageable? I guess the question that really arises here is 'how much do we think we are creating order?' Well, to some the illusion of order is maintained by keeping surfaces at home dust free, to others it is regular direct debits, and to others, taking the medications at the prescribed times.

But for those that choose to view the glass from the other end, order is limiting, restricting and, well, dull. The elements of chaos are the hidden aspects within order, and I, choose to see chaos from an ordered perspective, almost applying a magnifying glass when I choose to see a little deeper into the reality.

From this union of both order and chaos we skate our lives upon the thin ice, avoiding the cracks wherever possible, but peering in when we have the stability or courage, for a wise man does know what lies beneath the surface.

ORGANIC FRUIT NOW

With spring arriving upon the breeze, and the farmers preparing their fields and orchards, the time to start considering the Summers' harvest is not too far away. For the fruits that will be gathered, some of summer and some of autumn are already glimpsed by nature's eye.

The organic apples and pears, and also the soft summer fruits, strawberries and raspberries will soon be sitting upon their mother's breast, to be shared and enjoyed by those who choose to forego the laden fruits of the chemical source.

By preparing now, the wise farmer knows what he might expect form his harvest, and though there may be difficulties, hurdles, problems and unexpected encounters, by experience he understands that should be put in the appropriate effort, he is increasing the opportunities for his crop to ripen.

And in this way it is the same for the farmer's of life, for as they sow, so shall they reap... And what harvest might the organic life farmer wish for? A summer crop of peace and happiness or? And should he choose these crops, does he know the correct manner in which he should sow his seeds, and indeed what seeds he should sow.

For this organic man is one who wishes for a wisdom harvest, an inner sunshine and warmth, laden with rich calming colours and lights, and the succulent richness of inner peace and tranquility... By following the path.

ORGANIC YOGA

Upward dog, downward dog.... 5 breaths... Sound familiar? Well if it resonates with you I understand, and empathise with you too... A yogi.

And in this world of organic life, we too are organica, but, does this mean the very word and meaning might be used, levered and angled to suit? Well, yes and no. Yes, for good purposes and no for exploitative reasons, and the funny thing is that the very word 'Organic' is beginning to bite back at the hand that purported to support it, once... it had been used in a cynical manner.

I have read that one of the UK's leading organic brands, Duchy Originals lots several million pounds in their last trading year, and whilst I have sympathy for their financial plight I also have an inkling as to why this may have occurred. In a word? Greed. Based around that big bad bogey of the organic world - trading upon a celebrity name.

GET THE MESSAGE YET? More and more of these vanity projects will suffer and fail, and drag the word organic through the mud (pun intended), it is a short term and elitist idea that is failing, and Prince Charles' advisers had better regain the clear ground, based upon product and service and not upon name, for not only will the organic world suffer, those whose names are associated, (brands in themselves) will also suffer.

Anyway, get back to your yoga mat, I know you have not been very good about practicing this year, even though you made a resolution to do so. I can see you, feel you and know you... But, despite your reputation, I love you... x

GETTING ORGANIC TASTE

When you eat, what is the process that occurs? It starts with your eyes, as the plate is laid before you, the meal is devoured by your eyes, you make many quick, some rational and many irrational decisions about what you are about to put into your body.

For, with organic produce, you have an idea about what might be hidden within the food, or more likely, what you will not find within your lunch. Because though we wash most of our foods prior to cooking and this washes the excess dirt and possible chemical contamination from the surfaces, if the vegetables have been raised in chemical beds, the very substance of the food will contain various amounts of largely untested chemicals, as part of your meal.

And when I say untested chemicals, I mean exactly that, as by eating this food, you are the tester, you are part of a big food experiment, that hopefully will not go wrong, but it might.

The organic food industry has the desire to use methods of cultivation that are not predicated on this experimental methodology, thereby not using you, the consumer as a Guinea pig, for should the food industry experiment go awry, who will help you... No one.

What you taste might not be the food you eat, but a chemical soup of laboratory gunge whose derivation is obscure, frightening and potentially toxic. Would you reach into a bag of chemicals and lick your fingers, however nice it tasted, if you did not know what it was?

Organic food tastes of food, and sure, add pepper, salt, herbs and spices, but what about those enhancers, preservatives and so called 'E' numbers, now there is a bad joke if I ever heard one.

Eat and taste your food, as it is, as it was grown, not as the food chemist determines on the basis of profit and shelf life - are those criteria that suit your taste?

LOOKING FOR ORGANIC REALITY

Searching for truth, in both the organic and the inorganic, but how lies the definition of inorganic. It is assumed to be non-biological and without a process of vitality... And I waver over these both.

For what is static and unchanging? I see that an onion grows, it is biology and has a process and development, and I see that a gold wedding band is static, non-biological and does not change. But at the same time we know that nothing remains. And the metaphysical aspects of organica vs inorganica are no more than the usual semantic philosophical conundrum.

But there is more, if we dig a little deeper into the dark, moist, enriched soil. For the relationship between the inner and outer worlds, sometimes described by the word - ANTHROPOSOPHY - coined by no less a figure than Rudolf Steiner.

And all these pathways, as they intersect at the crossroads of inner/outer space, at the confluence and convergent points are subjected to our own personal editing suites - programmed by karma, often in the guise of learned behaviours, and powered by our inhibited relationship with both extremes.

Within the quantum point(s) that are the non-entity of stillness and being, the deity within and without is her/him that reflects our desires and projects them upon the curtain that is drawn over the surface of our eyes.

So, leave those eyes in the drawer, and open the hidden eye, the third eye, and see.

ORGANIC ASTROLOGY

Taking biodynamics to the next level, or reaching new heights? I first heard about biodynamic agriculture, with regard to organic production, when I met a very interesting lady who had a vineyard.

She took her understanding of the relationships between the elements of the natural world much farther than I had ever contemplated. She spent long nights in the vineyard watching what happened, to try and gain an understanding through passive observation, and one quite remarkable discovery of hers was that of when the birds chose to eat the grapes.

She saw that the birds would choose to eat the grapes from the vine at a very specific time of the lunar month and also a specific time of the night, and she concluded, that if the birds ate the grapes at this time, they, being attuned and subtly aligned, were determining their eating times to co-incide with the time at which the grapes were at their most nutritious and sweetest.

So, this seemingly retrograde (no pun intended) method of timing harvesting, has become another string in the ever subtler bow of the organic wine maker - watching the cycles of the moon, and the movements of nature around the crops.

Which brings me to a further potential, that of the ancient new science of astrological crop management, looking even further outwards to try and interpret the signals that are indicated in the skies and heavens above, and indeed all around. The seasonal periods, indicated by the ancient solar and lunar clocks, the Stonehenge and the Avebury, that are a manifestation of the relationship between inner earth and outer sky, no longer visible to many modern men and women, as the tension within their own inner and outer spaces prevents a harmonic imaging and relationship process.

Too uptight to relax, and see... To see what nature is, as it is us. All around, and all within.

The stars are not separate from us, and we are not separate from them, and this unison and understanding helps our relationship with our planet Earth, and fosters a stewardship that creates an organic relationship with all we consume and create.

MY ORGANIC VALENTINE

As lovers gather their dreams and yearnings, so many secret and never known, the time for hearts to share is due, for that arrow of the sainted one - Valentine.

Before the time of Chaucer, no mention was of this finest man, and before his days, and even now, it is not known if this is one or many men... A St Valentine or...

And whence the meaning contained within this day? For Valentine has the word, buried within its etymology, valour... courage and fearlessness. Do display one's love without fear of rejection, or is this a form of cowardice, to post a card or leave a bouquet both untitled, for fear of refusal?

For within the arrow of love, released from Eros to the heart, is the thread that joins two or more within love's messenger... And for you and I, we share gifts, and here we have organic flowers from me to thee, and card upon recycled paper, a gift of creativity rather than monetary considerations... Think Green Valentine, for any saint would wish no harm to another, and green is that little less harmful, today and tomorrow.

So on this 14th February, consider, be green and organic, step lightly, and know that love is in the air....
