TRUSTING THE MYSTIC
Tuesday, April 6
To travel lightly, to leave no footprint in the sand, or, that which she leaves, is soon to be less than a memory. But the green traveller, the girl with the spring of Spanish air in her hair, and embracing her fingertips with warm seduction, can choose the path of lighter tread, of softer impacts.
Sweet Emerald Skies, the child of the universe can see and breathe the early light of a bright strong sun, that cheerfully sweeps away the night times chill.. Be off!
And this, today, with light and freedom of where she might place those sandal'd feet, until the softer ground is reached, where she will kick them high and free and set those toes and soft feet free, to walk upon that earth, that mother.
And as her toes are spread on soft earth, with grainy sands and tufted grasses, she knows, connects with life within, both her soul and that of Gaia, united.
And in Girona, she sits in B-12, with her guide book in her hand - Traveling Naturally in Spain, written by her sweet companion of the trail, Dorian Yates, and chooses an organic black Americano with 2 heaped spoons of demerara sugar, rich, black and so sweet.
To invigorate, inspire and energise, to allow that nourishment to enter, and flow within, and read the cards for a travels today, the Tarot as her guide. And what card might be the reading for this day... It is The Heirophant, the guardian of holy pathways, to mystic knowledge, so Emerald knows that today, she should travel as a pilgrim, with an open heart, and sacred mind, to know that truths will be revealed on this day, she just has to see... that is all.
Today, warm sunshine, soft tread and an open heart - the traveller's day. And leave a footprint as you go, knowing that it might be seen, and what might your message be? How might those who you've left behind in your life think of you? What ripples do you create around you?
Emerald leaves a loving kiss, blown over her shoulder as she laughs at the foolishness of the world, and into the day, where she plants the seeds of joyous life in the natural world around her.

TRAVELING WITH THE TAROT
Tuesday, March 30
Emerald is sat, with her book in her hand, Traveling Naturally in Spain, written by Dorian Yates, choosing which way to go... Dear ones, shall I go north, south, east or west? Hmmm, maybe I should read my tarot cards to help me decide. Yes, that is a good idea.
For Emerald Skies lives and breathes the tarot, her insight and wisdom gained through a long lineage of teachers, who have guided the use of her intuition and understanding, and should you wish, she would read for you too.
East, West, North or South... She will lift 3 cards.
Five of Swords, Two of Pentacles and Judgement. North, she will head north, and she will cross water, maybe a river or perhaps the sea.
But for today, she will walk around Valencia, looking and browsing the organic stores, the healthfood shops and cafes, and also enjoying the early Spanish sunshine, and on her route she takes in the sites and scenes of the green traveller, picking up the Guia Verde Valencia, and a copy of Gamana, both guides for the eco tourist.
And time for a sit down, a coffee and orange juice, and she's chosen La Morhada, the organic stall at the Mercado Central, to pick up her supplies for the the day, and here she meets a stranger, a man of mystery, perhaps a mystic. His name is Raphaello, long dark hair, and penetrating black/blue eyes, and as they meet and share energy, he tells her that he has a message for her, a lesson for her to learn.
Her blood runs, hot and then cold, and then hot once again. She knows she must listen, it is her fate....

GREEN BARCELONA
Thursday, March 25
Sat in a cafe, awaiting food... Emerald Skies looks around with her mouth beginning to moisten, as the plates of food are being hurried past, upon the arms of handsome white aproned waiters, brushing through with svelte hip movements, dark hair bright and shiny, and brown eyed to slay...
And where better to be than 'Organic' one of the finest vegetarian eateries in Barcelona, recommended by Dorian Yates in Traveling Naturally in Spain, oh and do you know what their motto is? 'Organic is Orgasmic'...
Maybe a little bit naughty, but hey, we are all grown ups here, and it is not as if we do not know what an orgasm is.... Blush.
The choice here of regional and local dishes, all created for a discerning and intelligent clientele, are just perfect, whether for simple or complex tastes, oh, a little story of the road.
The last time Emerald was in Barcelona, many years ago, she had no money and no food, and was taking the train, back up through from Spain, via Paris and then back to London, and whilst sitting on the train, she was eyeing up a fellow traveller's lunch as he was eating his sandwiches, and another traveller, seeing those hungry eyes offered up his lunch to Emerald, who after some bafflement accepted
But before the food was passed over, the price was named. The price? To pay it forward, and in the following manner... When it was her time to see a hungry fellow traveller, she pays the debt by offering to feed a stranger, but also with the message to be passed on as well, so in effect causing a long chain reaction, passing food, the debt, and the story...
Emerald accepted the fee, ate the food, and still takes every opportunity to help a fellow traveller on the road.

TAKING A GREEN SPAIN
Friday, March 19
She is ready to fly upon her own wings, ready to travel with verdant light touch upon the Earth... Emerald sits at the border, awaiting the bible of those who would take the soft and gentle journey through Spain, and here it is, it has arrived, so whilst the tedium of the border is passed, she opens her guide to learn the passage ahead...
And over the border, into that most elusive natured country of Europe, to venture and find new paths, to be lost amongst cities, and found in deserted locations... Quickly Emerald, learn the basics, take a lungful of that natural air and learn to become Spanish, from here.
And as she realises the Vernal Equinox is upon the world, this time to travel, to open up her heart into the beautiful spring of that most luxuriant and exotic of countries, is upon her, and truly no better time could be, than that of now.
She has her guide, kind Dorian Yates, the publisher who guides her so well - Traveling Naturally in Spain - to share her insight and wisdom, and one warning that came in loud and clear.... Only cross the roads when the lights permit, as the red light is there for one reason... To protect you - Caution.
But having flashed a red light, so early on in her journey, now Emerald is ready to take the country in her stride, to maybe drink a little wine, to sample olives, to sit under shady orange trees, and watch the dust of life sink and rise, for this traveller has time to venture, to enjoy, to watch... and share with you. She starts her journey now.
