History
The founder, Mark Golding, is an internationally renowned expert in 19th Century Architecture and Design, having written and published in Britain, America and Australia. Having studied building and design at The University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology (U.M.I.S.T.) Mark went on to found The Arts & Crafts Home and now promotes 19th Century architecture and design around the World. Now working with experts in 20th Century and Post-war design, the service is expanding into all areas of architectural design.
Fees
We are a free listing service. We understand that by providing simple free listings both buyers and sellers can benefit, and in this process we build our reputation as the premier site for architectural excellence.
Premier Listings
We are able to compile detailed histories and descriptions of your property, using a combination of expertise, access to relevant archives and a unique library. We do charge for this service.
Special Promotions
We can work specifically for you, by creating specialist promotional pages, both on our website (over 8 million hits in October 2005) and on our newsletter (over 7000 subscribers). We can create an individual web page and promotion for your home, using the online visibility of ‘The Arts & Crafts Home’ as a springboard. We do charge for this service.

SOLE AGENCY QUESTIONS AND THE PRACTICALITIES
Sole agency
You will not have to pay your estate agent commission if you sell your property privately through our listings on the basis of a ‘Sole Agency’ agreement. Sole Selling rights however mean that you will have to pay the agent if we sell your house for you. Check your contract.
In the case of a ‘Joint Sole Agency’ deal, both agreed agents share the seller’s commission.
Duration of listing
