This design, like our Angelic Forest, dates from 1930. It is a bucolic nursery view of late 19th century rural England. The Shepherd was designed as a nursery frieze but can work equally well in any interior for the young at heart. Drawn with Voysey's ability to see with the eye of a child, all of the many subjects in the image are of equal importance and thus of almost equal size.

This is a variable scale image and has been printed in mural size as well as smaller border size.

£10.00/ square foot
